A note from the Founder

In my childhood, I used to visit my grandparents in my native village twice a year, for both summer and winter holidays. Both my grandparents were teachers, and even after retirement they used to take evening classes, mostly for free.

One thing that I came to understand, and which at some deeper level affected me, was that these students not only had limited access to education but also had absolutely no access to quality English storybooks and activity books. Gradually, I started sharing my books with them.

This was 20 years ago. Now, though many more children go to school and there are several governmental and non-governmental organisations working towards making quality education more accessible, there is still a great chasm between access to good stories and activities in English for kids from a weaker economic background.

This website is a small effort from my side to bridge the chasm.

Together, with your support, taking small steps, I hope we all can play a role in bridging this gap.
